This "Buteyko" breathing method seems strange to me. In one of the first chapters, for example, it says "If you breathe more than you need you are loosing carbon dioxide constantly and deplete its reserves in the body." ...did I miss something im biology? AFAIK carbon dioxide is nothing but a waste product you have to get rid of. It's passed into the lungs for that purpose. I think the problem with deep breathing is rather too much oxygen for the body, which results in the dizzyness. Oxygen is even used as a drug in some discos.

Just my 2 cents, I'll be glad to hear if I'm wrong :-)

Edit: Oh well, maybe my BS detector was a little fast this time, and my initial reaction too hard. I'll give it a try anyway and tell you my results.
